BLOOM | A Love Letter to Women
To bloom is to be nurtured, to be held, to grow in the presence of care.
The women in my life have been that soil, that sunlight, that rain -- lifting me, grounding me, reminding me of my strength.
BLOOM is a love letter to them: the ones who raised me, the ones who walk beside me, and the ones whose voices have carried me through song.
Recorded live at PAIKO, a local botanical shop on the island of O'ahu, Hawai'i, surrounded by my friends and flowers...this mix embodies the same energy of growth and renewal I feel in their presence. I wanted to record it here because PAIKO is a sanctuary in itself, just like the relationships that sustain me.
Every track in BLOOM is by a female artist, spanning soulful R&B, hip-hop, UK garage, jungle, jersey club, baile funk, house, indie rock and electronic experimental. These are just some of the artists who have soundtracked my journey, my resilience, and the spaces where I feel most held.
Tittahbyte is a DJ and music curator from O‘ahu, known for her distinctive sound and influence on Honolulu’s music scene. A former journalist turned nightlife staple, she has opened for Kaytranada, Doja Cat, and Billie Eilish while curating events and introducing emerging artists to Hawai‘i. With a versatile style spanning multiple genres, she has played for brands like JACQUEMUS, Red Bull Music, and legendary parties like The Do-Over, cementing her reputation as a tastemaker.
