Despite what you’ve heard about the number 13, it’s actually considered a very lucky number in Chinese culture meaning ‘assured growth’ and ‘definitely vibrant’. Martin Yan, legendary chef and TV host of the popular cooking show “Yan Can Cook,” joins top chefs from across the country to create innovative bites inspired by traditional dim sum dishes meant to touch the heart. From steamed and pan fried to deep fried and baked, these seven chefs prove there’s more to dim sum than dumplings. Still feeling superstitious?
